I love the beach. I always have, always will. It is one of my most favorite places to go...ever. So much so that my amazing husband has taken me and the girls there every Mother's Day since I became a Mom. I'm lucky. My girls and Jimmy love the beach too - so that makes it so much better.
So needless to say I was thrilled when Annie contacted me about doing Emily's 1 year photos on the beach! Sign me up!!
Any reason to go to the beach is fine by me! We all went and spent the day on the beach as a family then I met up with Emily and her parents that evening before sunset. It was a perfect day. Weather, sand, sun...
Annie & Justin - Thanks so much for the opportunity to photograph your family on the beach!! Enjoy your sneak peek!
P.S. Miss Emily does the cutest thing ever...I just couldn't get over it! She sucks her 2 fingers and then holds her other hand in front of them so no one can take them out! SO CUTE!!
Brooks is one and boy is he on the move! You sit him down, he stand up and takes off running. All he wanted to do was go, go, go!! Good thing Grandma came along with a bubble gun to mesmerize him and his Big Brother Peyton which bought me a few seconds of them sitting still :)
One is such a fun age to photograph - whether they are walking or still learning (both of my girls didn't walk until they were 15 months) they are full of personality and it is so neat to see what makes them excited. For every little one it is different and I love trying to find out what it is that will make them laugh or smile.
Lindsay & Dave - thanks so much for allowing me the opportunity to watch your boys grow. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Little Ellie is One!! Ellie was so much fun to photograph! We snapped a few of her in her tutu and then we headed off to Patterson Park. The park was a happening place that day - but we found some not so busy areas and had a great time.
Erica told me Ellie wasn't really walking much before our session - but boy did she take off once she was outside! I wouldn't be surprised if she is fully walking now. She was too adorable once she figured out how to get going! There was no stopping her :)
Erica and Joe - it was so nice to finally meet you and Ellie! I had a great time getting to know you and photographing your little cutie. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!
