One of my amazing clients contacted me about a friend of hers whose pup was diagnosed with cancer. They aren't sure how long she has, but they know it isn't curable so she thought it would be great if she could have some photos with her babies before Maggie got too sick. What an awesome friend, right?! One of a kind.
So of course I said yes and jumped at the chance to photograph Maggie and her 2 brothers so Bridgette could have some beautiful memories to look back on in the days ahead.
We had to work quick as some days were good for Maggie and some days were not so good.
It is so neat to see a dogs personality once you spend some time with them. Maggie is so sweet, loveable and a little lady. But let me tell you - she knew that the day was all about her and she was not liking being the center of attention! As soon as I'd pick my camera up and even point it in her direction she'd nonchalantly look the other way...every.single.time. It was too funny.
Her brother Buster was another story, he'd sit and pose and look right at me. :) Such a sweet handsome fellow.
And then there was Riley, oh Riley...he was the puppy of the group. He liked to talk, a lot. :) He did great tho, after a while he got used to me...well so I thought, but then I'd turn around and it was like he had never met me before. He was too funny. But what a photogenic boy, so handsome. As you can see in a few of the photos, he wanted this to be all about him ;) as he tried to get his cute mug in as many photos as possible.
Bridgette it was a great pleasure meeting you and your babies. I am so glad I had this opportunity to capture memories of Maggie and her brothers for you. Enjoy your sneak peek!
